Paul Stinson

Admitted to practice in 1991, Paul has been with Garland Hawthorn Brahe since 2005.  Paul’s principal practice areas within the firm are property law, corporate and commercial transactions, business succession planning and the administration of trusts.

 

In the property and business law disciplines Paul’s expertise is extensive.  It includes the handling of large farmland acquisitions and sales, water acquisitions and sales, other dealings in relation to water rights (assignment and subdivision), industrial property transactions, commercial and industrial leasing, sale of businesses and Strata Title management and dispute resolution.

 

Paul also practises in commercial and corporate transactional work, including company share acquisitions, share buy-outs, with associated finance and loan security advice.

 

In addition to these practice areas, Paul advises in personal succession and estate planning, including business structures, trusts and partnerships;  and additionally, in guiding trustees of private and charitable trusts, self-managed superannuation funds in relation to their duties and obligations.

 

As a member (since 2010) of the Law Society of NSW Lawyers Assistance Program (LAP) which utilises the experience of former Law Society Presidents and Counsellors in developing strategies to advise or assist lawyers in the course of their practices, Paul also offers the benefit of his knowledge, experience and dedication to his professional colleagues when required.
