Stephen Martin

Stephen was admitted in 1976 and became a partner in 1982.  He holds a Bachelor of
Arts and Law from the University of Sydney.  He was a driving force in establishing the firm’s commercial litigation section before branching out into banking and commercial property law. 

 

Stephen’s principal areas of practice and expertise are:

  • General commercial advice regarding all types of commercial agreements including joint ventures, trust etc

  • Banking and financial documentation including loan facility agreements, mortgage and loan enforcement, workouts, finance litigation

  • Company reorganisation, receivership, schemes of arrangement

  • Acquisition and sale of commercial, industrial and residential property

  • Acquisition and sale of commercial, industrial and residential property

  • Strata scheme, development and by-laws

  • Leasing and licensing

  • Local government appeals against development application refusals

  • Succession Act claims

 

Steve is a keen skier and golfer and supporter of Rugby.
